In March my wife and I had a boy, Eli Swift Kyle. Being a dad has been awesome, and I am finally getting back into the swing of everything. So you can expect to see some more stuff posted here and some new art coming to the site very soon.

It was this post by my friend Jeff Excell (who has never steered me wrong on a music recommendation yet), that prompted me to order Unicorn Dream Attack’s album Love Bits.

Lately this has been one of my favorite albums to blast on headphones while I am working or in the car when I am driving. It is one of those albums that you just can’t fully appreciate on tiny speakers. So, plug the headphones in, turn up the bass, and enjoy.

robotic tacos tee & crew neck sweatshirt

These are not for sale. Just thought some of you might like to see the team shirt for “The Robotic Tacos”. “The Robotic Tacos” are the LEGO robotics team that I am coaching. They are 7th and 8th graders who are going to a robotics competition early tomorrow morning. I can’t wait to see the crushed looks on their faces when we get stomped. It’s too bad that there is not a “coolest team” prize though, cause I am confident that my kids would win, seriously, you can’t even imagine how proud I was when they picked their team name (without any help from me).

This is the kind of nerdy stuff I am teaching kids to do.
